Non-Theatrical Film Screenings refer to the screening of films and TV shows outside of the cinema or an individual’s home. To screen films and TV programmes to audiences non-theatrically, persons or organisations must obtain the consent of the copyright owner or their representatives in the form of licensing before doing so.

To enable wider audiences to view their films legally, copyright owners appoint a Non-Theatrical representative (such as Filmbankmedia) to licence screenings in 70+ markets including:

  • Outdoor screenings including festivals, cycle-ins, and drive-ins
  • Schools and universities
  • Community film groups
  • Entertainment venues
  • Government and public buildings
  • Art centres
  • Museums
  • Libraries

...and many more.

OUTDOOR FILM SCREENINGS

On a warm evening, there is nothing better than watching a film in the open air with friends and family.

You can organise outdoor film screenings at a festival, on the beach, on a public square, a park, a field, or even a parking lot; there is an abundance of amazing locations to explore.

Make your outdoor event extra eco-friendly.

How about combing two passions into one? Cinema and bicycles.

Cycle-in screenings are good for the environment and good for the heart. From the city to the lush countryside, they can be set up in many places and open the door to plenty of partnership opportunities. Think bike shops, manufacturers, your local bike rental scheme, and many more.
